10-15 degrees on low rates for elevators and ailerons. 25 degrees for rudder. The control surfaces are huge on this thing. I had two of them.

3D rates, all you can get on all surfaces.

Try a 12-6 prop.

This is what the manual says I use these rates and they work out good but at least its a great starting point. I didnt worry with having the up and down on the ailerons different I just used the 3/4" for low and 2 1/8" for high. Also if you need it the CG is 5 5/16"-5 11/16". For 3D you will probably have to a little further back than the recommended CG but its always good to start in the middle. You may also want to go a little further with your ailerons on high rates mine are at about 2" up and down and it almost takes full aileron to keep it from torque rolling in a hover.

LOW
AIL-3/4" up 5/8" down

ELEV-7/8" up and down

RUD-2" up and down

HIGH
AIL-2 1/8" up 1 7/8" down

ELEV-2 5/8" up and down

RUD-3 7/8" up and down
