Have they changed cells or something. I have a few of the JR 2700mah 6v with the power safe leads. I just purchased a new pack of the same size, type, and capacity but the cells are smaller??? not sure why?

Has JR/Spektrum changed their batteries? I know they havent been readily available lately...

The new pack looks exactly like AA size but the older packs have a slightly bigger than AA cell size. what gives?
