I am not sure this is the correct forum for my question but I am hoping someone can help me. Question is I am just about to complete my winter project of building a F4U Corsair and have purchased a pilot figure for the cockpit and I need to know what the various colors are for the various parts of his flying suit. Can anyone direct me to a source (color please) of photos or illustrations that I can use to paint my figure? An internet address would be ideal.
Thanks in advance guys.
zusie

I've used the "4FU in Color" by Squadron Publications.

you can find these at any LHS or order from Squadron at
http://www.squadron.com/SearchResults.asp?ScaleList=everything&TypeList=23&ManuList=everything&Key=F4U+Corsair&Submit=Go

This book shows Marine aviator dress for 1943-1944 and for Korea 1950-1952.
