Hi All...I just picked up a NIB Silence kit, I've never had an electric heli before so this is all new to me, sorry if these questions sound silly. First of all, the kit looks really nice, CF frames, lots of anodized aluminum parts, Vario quality. It came with the Kontronik
Tango motor and ESC. there are no connectors on the leads,( in a package), do I solder them on, or just crimp them on, or both? Does the motor have variable speed, controlled by the trans/ESC, or is it strickly on and off, controlled by the trans? The instructions, ( German translation,sucks..), lead me to believe that you have to calibrate the ESC with the trans to get a certain motor RPM. Like I said, I'm confused, I've never had any experience with these. Thanks, I'll probably have more questions as I get farther into it.....Coop
