I should be able to make that work. I'll see if I can get it some video up wtih my own camera. Mine does seem to float down a little slower than yours does. But that doesn't surprise me, I think you said yours was 6/8? I got mine to 6/5 and while that doesn't seem like much, the cubic wing difference there is 9.62:9.91. I would love to get mine to 6/2 (9.34). but I have a 50cc that I just picked up, so my efforts on this one may cease for now.

I've found planes around 9:1-9:3 really float nice (regardless of size). Not that I have that much experience with many planes but I've found the Cubic Wing Loading formula to be WAY more useful.

If this plane weighed 6/2, do you think the 82 would pull it well enough???

Doesn't surprise me either. Things had been done to stop it from "floating" in that vid as it would have been harder to land as there is a short amount of area available for approach where we were flying that day. There are cyclone fences all around and a bunch of tall trees on 2 sides and a power plant on the third. In the end of the vid when the landing occured it was done from a Harrier to shorten it way up.

I firmly believe in keeping my planes as light as is reasonably possible but I don't want them easy to break either. This plane has a 12 oz tank in it sitting up against the wing tube and from full to empty I really don't notice any difference in the flying characteristics of the plane. That's just shy of 3/4 of a lb of fuel from full to empty. About the only difference I notice is that it pulls out of a hover quicker when near empty. I could take the wheel pants off and remove the pump from the Saito to lighten it some more but then it wouldn't perform nor look as good so I just fly itthe way it is. It's a blast. The only plane I like more is the one in my avatar which is my Aeroworks Extra 260 50cc.

At 6.2 lbs the 82 would pull it but I don't think it would be much fun to hover since pull out would be weak at best. Most other manuevers would be alright. If I had the spare cash I think I would spring for the 115 to put on mine. It weighs close to the 91 (only 1 oz diff) but makes a lot more power. Have mucho fun which ever way you decide to go.

Tim, I'm glad to hear you got your 50cc plane. I guess it's the one you were unsure if you were going to get or not. Regardless, that's a good move. Lemme know how well it flies and which airframes you got.
