I'm sure no expert on engine problems so take what I say with a grain of salt . But if the only change was the back plate, I'd check for air leaks around it. If air gets into your crankcase thru any opening other than the carb venturi, you'll get erratic operation. Your crankcase is being pressurized when the piston moves down and a vacuum is pulled as the piston moves up. Letting air in or out where it shouldn't be going screws up the engine fuel/air mixture royal .

Let us know what you find
    Lots of luck

i dont use servo savers, instead i found it convienent to get a good metal gear servo. when i first got into rc i would break cheap servos, and stupidly put in another pile of crap. after about 5 or 6 hobbico servos in about a month i decided to save up some money and buy a good one. it lasted me a while untill i accidentally pluged it into the reciever backwards and burnt it up. it was a hitec, not sure which one but ive always been happy with there servos since. jr makes some really good servos to. i dont run anything less than a metal geared servo, with about 100 ounces of torque, and .15 sec/60 degrees.

Get one on Ebay, I got one brand new, and its cool, but I got one on ebay for 140 bucks less than what the hobby shop was selling them for, and its just as good. I have seen them on ebay for 175 on up. that includes radio not just a rolling chassis.

Does anyone know where to get a non ps backplate for a mach .15. Is there one made for a different engine that works on the mach, maybe with a few mods.

Im having problems with my xxx nt. I cannot get it to start now? It has a bit of run time on it and I think it may be a compression problem but do not want to buy new piston and sleeve until Im sure. It does not have as much pop when the piston rises and will not lift sleeve as well. At first I thought it could be the Header gasket was bad but replaced it. It starts up but will run for only a second kinda like it is not getting fuel. Anyone deal will this yet?

sounds like its either too lean or the idle is too low. just start it and give it throttle to keep it going.

Im building a XXXNT for my girlfriend. I want it to be HOT NEON PINK and black. I found TL springs that are pink, but I want everything that is stock yellow/green to be HOT pink. So if anybody knows a site it would be greatly appreciated. Another thing: What do i need to do in order to repaint my stock wheels. I sanded them to rough them up, and I airbrushed them, but the paint came right off. Do i need to use plastic primer or what.

your not suposed to paint them but rather die the wheels. sounds like your g/f likes pink too much.
