man this guy i traded with tried to do me in i think. he put those bushings in the front tires, he had associated springs that dont even fit on the shocks. the mount for the on/off switch was not even there. there were various screws missing and some that had been replaced with the wrong random screws. and my engine is a mach 15, who knows about this one? any good. one more question, about radio batteries. do i need the ones from the hobby shop that they sell for 3 bucks a piece or can i just get any regular rechargeables from a store somewhere???

well for the TX regular one will work but for the rx i would recommend rechargables or a pack.

You can just buy regular batteries for the receiver, but they do make things called TX packs. They are rechargable battery packs that go where all the AA batteries would of gone. You can charge the pack when they go dead just like the RX pack.

The TX is the controller(radio/transmitter) the RX is the reciever.

Yea, I'm looking for a better RX battery box too. (4th so far....) My battery is tied to front shock tower for now (good nose weight for oval racing) but still need box to hold rear pins.
Comparing RCTRIX and NATIVE RACING:

If you look at my post on page 1 of this thread you will see the native racing battery box installed on my truck. If you are going to use it you must first have the trinity alunimum rear piviot support. It has set screws that hold the hinge pins in place. The Native box does not hold the pins in like the stock plastic piece. Mine has worked great but the rc trix one looks a little better. Stan www.1stplacerace.com
