I had this same problem. I used a drill bit just a little smaller then the size of the screw, not the head of the screw and drilled in the stripped part. Go down about a quarter inch and the head shoudl break off. Then use some plyers to unscrew the broken bit and replace the screws with new ones.

Thats a pretty good question nick. I never thought about my bottom screws being stripped out. Normaly I save myself by adding packaging tape to the bottom to protect the screws. If I think of something i'll let you know.

yeah I ran into the problem yesterday when I was trying to break it all the way down to clean it and fix it. more than half of them were stripped or ground down. I also think I stripped my steering servo but im not sure. I was at leisure hours raceway practing and I hit a yellow divider and my steering went all the way to the right for no reason. cant get it to turn the other way now either.

that happened to me too, instead of ruining the screws just use a dremel tool with a metal cutter disk and slot the screws and use a flat head to get them off, don't worry if you go into the chassis a little bit it won't hurt it...remember just a little ...shouldn't comprimise proformace... doesn'on my baby,
