How do you guys know when your slipper is all the way tight? I know this sounds dumb but it's hard to grasp where to back the nut off 3.5 times if I can't tell where 0 is. thanks,

Completely all the way tight is when the nut is tighten all the way and the spring is compressed . Backing off 3.5 turns is a good starting point and then adjust from there to your track conditions and driving style .

With the nut tight all the way down and the spring squished as much as posible from it. Back the nut a full counter clockwise which will equel one full turn. Do that 2 more times and then another half turn (from 12 o'clock to 6 o'clock). And thats the 3.5 turns there talking about. I dunno guys, I like the full feel of the clutch tightened all the way down. I adjust my acceleration with my controller to give it that traction. Does anyone else tightend theres like me or am I a loner on that one...

Well looking at my truck right now and to think of that problem occuring the dogbones are stripped, wheel hubs stripped, bad gear mesh, slipper clutch is loose, clutch not catching in the clutchbell, diff gear not tightened enough. I can't think of anything else that would go wrong. Anyone else??

Tightening the slipper all the way down would likely greatly decrease the life of the ball diff. You have to make sure that the slipper slips before the diff or you will be going through a lot of diffs!

Grab the Right side tire, and with that same hand, hold the spur gear so it cant move. Now turn the Left side tire. Is your slipper moving when you turn the wheel? Good. No? then that means the diff is slipping instead of the slipper and the diff will wear out prematurely.
