Wingspan and specs should all be on towers website if I recall...if you can't find it I'll dig it up off the box or measure it.

How would you guys like a video giving a first look at this plane out of the box and I'll weigh all the parts in the video so you can have a total out of the box weight?

It looks like a fast build...especially considering I did the big brother so the learning curve should be small on this one. I'll have a video up soon!

I HAD THE 60 SIZE WITH THE SAITO 100 AND IT WAS OK BUT NOT GREAT VBERTICLE ACCELERATION. LOOK AT THE POST ON THE SIXTY SIZE, MANY PEOPLE WENT WITH A YS 91 OR 120 AND THE PLANE CAME ALIVE.
I BELIEVE THE SAME WILL HAPPEN WITH THE 46 A 70 FOUR STRIKE WILL BE GOOD BUT THE 100 WILL BE GREAT.
AND BY THE WAY, I TALKED TO THE PEOPLE AT GREAT PLANES AND THE PROTOTYPE HAD A OS 70 IN IT. THE SAITO 100 WIEGHS THE SAME. SO, IT WILL NOT INCREASE THE WINGLOADING AT ALL. WITH AN APC 15X4 WIDE THE PLANE WILL NOT HAVE A LOT OF SPEED, BUT WILL HAVE GREAT VERICAL PERFORMANCE.

MINE SHOULD ARRIVE TOMORROW, AND SHOULD HAVE IT READY TO FLY IN A WEEK OR SO. WE WILL LET YOU KNOW.

Here are the 2 new first look videos of the Great Planes UCANDO-3D 46

In this first video I actually weigh all the pieces of the ucando 46 to give you guys an idea how much the plane comes in at minus engine, radio, glue. Parts were fresh out of the box and weighed on my digital scale. The second video which shows a closer look at the parts and the plane being unpacked so you can see what you get in the package.

Hope you like them!

All videos are in Windows Media Player format.

Marc, looks as if the permissions on the video file are off. Getting a don't have permission to view file error.

Great weigh in video, Marc!

Anyone ever weigh a Flip? I have an OS 50SX on mine and wanting slightly more engine for it. Just curious to see if the UCD 46 comes in a little lighter.

Thanks,
Scott

I got a OS 61 fs 4 stroke looking for a home and I think I may have just found it. Anyone know if the plane will hover on this engine and if so what sort of other 3D would this combo be able to do.

So what engine did you decide on??

I was at Darrells yesterday afternoon and saw the new shipment of kits..yours must have been the only one of the .46 UCD.

If you decide on a YS .63, I'll give you a NIB one and just give me yours when it comes in, get you in the air.
