Anybody know anything about the new U-Can-Do 3D coming out in a 46 size? I have an OS FS-70 II sitting here waiting for an airframe and I was thinking of putting it in a Global Freestyle, but I have heard there is a U-Can-Do 46 coming out.

Which would be the better choice for the OS 70 to use for a beginner at 3D and also to use for practice of soime precision aerobatics?

well, tower has it already listed for early june :

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDUL8&P=7

The earlier you order yours, the earlier you will get it. If it takes as much time as the Flip 3D did, you better order one NOW !

I saw a video of it at the LHS. It looks to be pretty good, the U-Can-Do I mean.

Looks like it is too early for anybody to have any real experience as it isn't out yet. We shall just have to wait and see!

Well...the last UCANDO thread turned into one of the largest ever on RC Universe! Let's see if the baby brother to the UCANDO-3D can pull the same interest!

I just received mine today. Has anybody seen one yet in person besides me? If not I'll take some pictures of it if you guys are interested. Out of the box it looks sweet.

Your not really putting a Saito 100 in a 46 size plane, are you?

Marc, some people have all the luck, do you get a business deduction for your models? Some people just pick the right careers. Keep us posted.

Marc--after looking at this new U-Can does it look like a OS 50 SX will move it around OK? Does it look like it will make the 5.25 lbs that GP is claiming? I am wondering if that motor will give it good enough vertical to 3d with.

Thanks!

I dont understand why you would do that ? It will only increase the wingloading, and compromise the flight performance. The UCD 60 will fly fine on a Saito 100, but I doubt the 46 size will really shine with that engine. Not that it won't fly, but just not as good as it could. My $0.02
