I have a couple of Concept 30's with scale bodies.

The problem i have is that my starter shaft is missing. The starter shaft is called H3263 but is sometimes referred as KYOE5099

The starter shaft connects directly in a one way bearing mounted on the starter cone (H3232 ONEWAY STARTER CONE). I have the same solution on all four of my Concept 30's.

So, since i lost my starter shaft i have to make a new one. The problem is that i dont have the exact diameter of that shaft, i have read that it might be 5 mm (0.2 inch) but i tested with a stainless 5mm rod and it was to small.

If anyone has the type of starter shaft i use and is willing to measure the diameter i would be a happy puppy.

Thanks in advance

From what I remember it should be a 6mm starter shaft.

It might be 6mm but i want to be sure so i don't destroy my hard to find starter cones.

I also have a 6mm hex starter shaft wich has the standard 6mm ball shaped end and then is 6mm all the way to the end adapter. That shaft almost got stuck in the one way bearing. I almost couldn't rotate the shaft at all but finaly got it out. Since that shaft got stuck i assumed that the original shaft was somewhat thinner.

EDIT: I just tested with a 6mm drill bit and it is to large. I also tested with a 5.5 mm and that might be the right diameter but i can't connect it to my starter so it is hard to test. I might do a test and put a 6mm stainless rod i a lathe and take off .1mm at a time till it works.
