I'm build one as we speak. Just about done. I have to admit to first few reported failures put me on hold for awhile......

I know most of you guys, me as well, bought this plane because a 7 lbs. 3D machine with a 91 FX on it sounded too good to be true. As most of us found out, it was. Well, a couple of weeks ago I picked up a new bird at Perry. It is the Kangke Cap 232 SPORT. It is very close to the same size as the Edge. The Edge fuse is a bit bigger, but the over size is very close. The best part is, it is well made, looks great, and comes out at 7 lbs.....ready to fly. The only area that bothered me was the fiberglass cowl has a very bad seam. It would take a lot of work to get this smooth (plus a new paint job). The included stickers will cover it up a bit...but after the Edge cowl I guess I'm spoiled......

More later after the first flight......

Hey Pugs...

You need to come down to Mobile, AL on April 13th for a great day of 3D. WE are having a group of top 3D pilots here for a big bird 3D fly in. Nothing but Low and Slow all day.

Mostly 1/4 scale and up but the first line is 3D!!! It will be very casual and lots of fun. Owen is coming down too. THe last one was a blast. Mike Sauls and some friends hand launched a 40% Edge into a hover. I have some pics on my website under IMAA event.

See if you can get some of your local 3D guys to come. It is a great way to learn and set new goals. All of the guys will be very happy to help.
