i am fitting robart 520 tri gear spring air retracts to my nano. the question is do i fit the supplied control valve via a servo or do i save space and fit a jet tronic single valve??

Either work, I have a JT-M valve in mine, but do you have a spare servo for the valve? If so it's a free set up rather than buy a valve!

im also thinking the jet-tronics m valve. i dont have a spare servo or linkage, so for the sake of maybe an extra £30 i may go for the m valve.
also does anyone know if i can buy a spare ecu lead to my reciever??, or can i convert a jr lead

That sounds like fun.. Our Nano had a Super sport in it and was really fast. A bit overpowered I think...
What flight time do you get with the Wren 75?

Bring it buddy. My wren 70 rocks in this setup..

Ali, we were getting 5 min with the 50oz and 7 with the jet tech. but that wasn't full throttle all the time, that was cruise on back side and fast on the front, with some vertical.. I set the timer for 4.5 and then landed quickly. The 79 oz is actually almost too much fuel, so I dont fill it all the way. just close.. about 70oz and go.

Hey guys,

Anyone know the ultracote/oracote # for the yellow that is on the sport scheme? Same scheme as Mr. Dave Wilshere's Nano is post #1084 (page 44).

I am not happy with my rudders and would like to recover them.

Thanks in advance!

For what its worth "Tamiya" make an aerosol in that yellow, thought I would need to change the colour of my wheel wells, but Alan sent me a pair in Cub Yellow to use and a full set of CA hinges for nothing, just because I asked, I have thanked him before, but just in case he comes on here: Thanks again Alan, I have nearly finnished the re-cover, I will post photographs on the Sprint thread when finnished.

I had been told in the past that the covering used was profilm/oracover and I have used cub yellow profilm with a perfect match and also when I recovered my Intro I used white profilm to match the existing white and again it matched perfect.

here are some pictures of my nano navy build. its now coming towards the end and is the first jet that i have actually built!. running a jetcat p60 turbine, robart spring air retracts with wire legs,
i am just waiting for my jet-tronics valve and dubro 50oz fuel tank to arrive from motors and rotors. then all that is left to go is the reciever and some gas fittings. i have an onboard gas tank set at an angle inder the board. also going to fit a air pressure guage for the retracts.

Your welcome.. Can I ask?
Is the wood coated in thinned resin? If so, does it come out smooth enough to paint on top of ( Without any prep work? ) I have a couple of builds lined up in the next week or so and was wondering if I should give this a try for a rather large radio tray that I have to do. My worry was that while it may look good in resin, I wondered if it would look not so good when a top coat goes on.
Regards Al

its covered in 50/50 thinned zpoxy finishing resin, pretty good finish and is sandable. would think it would need sanding over if painting for the smooth finish.
