I was looking at teh Evader St nitro at my LHS and saw that it looked to be pretty good. Has CVD's, enclosed receiver and battery, comes with batteries. Has the .18 engine with a long pull cord on it. Has anyone ever used this vehicle. any problems or completments about it. It comes with a 1 year warranty on the plastic parts, Which is good cause I normally break something on race days. I would love to hear some people's input.

Ok, just bought one today. I have about a quart of fuel through it and it seems pretty nice. For an RTR, I couldn't pass it up. My son and I have been having a ball with it. The engine is made by OS, so it should hold up well. 1 year warranty on plastic parts breakage. Even comes with batteries! Just add fuel and go. We'll see how it is over time, but so far I like it (so does my son)!

I have had one for about a week now. I had a hard time getting the engine broken in, but it seems to be very fast and durable. If anyone has anymore pointers on setting the engine up for easier starting please let me know, could still use the help.

I ran mine rich enough to keep the top speed at about 2/3 of peak speed. Did this for about 4 tanks of fuel. I then leaned it out enough to hit just on the rich side of peak but kept the low end rich. Then cruised around at 1/2 power with several short high speed runs. It's still rich on the low end, so I keep the idle up some. Run a tank through then let it cool and repeat. I'm running 15% nitro with 18% oil.

So far ours is doing very well. My son loves it when it will pull the front wheels up and do a wheelie down the street!

Why don'y give us the money to do that? I'm very happy with mine. Everybody says by a rc10, why should I be just like everybody else? My main thing is planes (20 plus and counting), the truck is something else to share with my son. Oh, btw not evrybody is into racing.

Cooch, The Gt plus is not Roar legal, It comes with a .15 and roar allows .12s. Some non roar tracks will let .15s run but some will go by roar rules even though they do not actaully operate through roar.

"because duratrax i heard are peices of **** for 30 more bucks by a ggod truck that is race legal"

I'm sure you have something that is a piece of ****. But you still bought it anyway. I think the key to this is what you have "Heard" against what I/we have experienced. You opinion is just that, yours. You will never here me call anything that somebody owns a piece of ****. Even if it is! Just not the right thing to do. Instead I try to help them work with what they have.

That doesn't make them race legal that just means your track doesn't follow ROAR rules.
