I bought one of these for a gws park flyer because my LHS doesn't carry GWS. I hooked it up and it worked fine. I unplugged the battery and finished hooking up the servo rods and plugged in the battery and now it won't work. The LHS said it was because I left in in the garage on a hot day. Are these things that delicate? Is there a better brand esc to use? Am I doing something wrong? The radio is a hitec flash four.

Just what doesn't work? Nothing works, or just the motor won't work? If it is just the motor, try turning the throttle all the way off, leave it for a couple of seconds, and advance the throttle to see if that works. If you have no power to the gear whatsoever, check the battery and look for funky connections. Make sure that you plugged the connector from the ESC to channel 3, and double check the polarity of the battery connection.

I have a bunch of wattage stuff and it seems to be quite reliable. And, No, leaving in a garage all day shouldn't hurt it at all.
