ORIGINAL: newpat i have the Buku pipe, because when i bought it i was all excited about my truck, getting the fancy stuff for it and all that... that was probably the best $ 100 i ever wasted !!! that is, with a stock engine and no knowledge on how to tune an engine properly. i dont know what kind of experience or engine you have so i cant tell you if it's good for you or not, but that is what i think of it... now it sits in a box... Pat why didnt you return it and get your money back then? It does have a 100% money back guarantee ya know. I also find it funny how you admit you have no knowledge of tuning properly but yet give your advice and say the pipe doesnt work. BUKU and all the reviews I have read say this pipe isnt for beginners or the inexperienced. My used 50 dollar rtr taiwanese crap with a BUKU in a heavier truck hangs with a lighter truck that is running a LRP w/ HPI polished pipe. weird how this pipe doesnt work. Oh, I dont run nitro fuel either while he is running 20% nitro. Must be magic my truck runs so good. Magic! i got the pipe in early winter so i only got a few days to play with it here and there and went past the 30 days guarantee. to answer on why i give my advice: i DID SAY that if, like me, you're a beginner with little or no knowledge about tuning, THEN the Buku is not for you. I didnt say the pipe is no good no matter what you know or what you run, right? Here is what i said: "i dont know what kind of experience or engine you have so i cant tell you if it's good for you or not" if people buy, use and recommend this pipe, then i agree that for some applications, with the right engine and the right guy, it probably is a good pipe. Not for a beginner, that's all i was getting at... but i'm glad that your "$ 50 taiwanese crap" runs so good, my $ 600 wherever-its-from Savage did not run any better with the Buku, that's all... Pat
