Its a 26 ft Fourwinns Fun Ship. Not your average wake board boat but it works. It was choppy is carap that day on the video. I am alot better then that.

Its a deck boat. has a open bow. Just a full tank of fuel and a little trim does the trick. No ballast.

cool,
what tricks can you do?
i can clear the wake pretty well, i can do a surface 180(switch) i can do a bunnyhop 180, mute grab. indy grab and the method grab.
over here in the uk, it gets pretty cold in the winter, so we have to pack everything in about september, then wait til about march to start again.
towards the end of last season i was trying to clear the wake and do a 180 while in the air, i just couldnt get the hang of it!!!ive got to land it next season.
heres a link to our latest wakeboarding vid and my rc boat.

Interesting combination. I reckon the boarders should have been hooked to an outrigger each. More chance of a wake, methinks...

Wild ride, nevertheless!

I use to wakeboard a couple years back.
Parents have a place on a lake here in illinois.

We've got a 2006 Super Air Nautique Team 230 wakeboard boat.
I use to ride a hyperlite byerly 142 board.

Heres the only picture ive got anymore of my flying through the air.
This was behind our old boat. '91 Malibu wakesetter

lol!!

ANYONE that wakeboards or has wakeboarded knows about the face plants and hard falls.
Everyone does it and has done it.
I never really quit.
i do it every once in awhile but im no where near as wild as what i use to be.
I was serious about it for almost 6 years.
Practice makes perfect, i wasnt able to jump on a board for the first time and start doing wild stuff.
It took me months before i was even comfortable with jumping the wake or doing a board slide.
3 summers in a row i made 3 excellent decisions as far as wakeboarding goes.
I enrolled in a wakeboarding school each of those 3 summers.
If you really want to proceed with wakeboarding and want to learn from the most experienced..
Go to a school that teaches a thing.

Simply awesome.
I got to meet some of the coolest people around and got to witness and do some of the coolest stuff.
Yeah of course it costed alot.
Im sure if i wouldnt have enrolled in such a thing we wouldnt have the boat we have now.
We would probably still have the Malibu.
Which actually, i wish we still had. Just for a filming boat or cruiser boat.
I miss it alot. But the Nautique out performs it in so many ways.

WakeBoardnBash, great choice. I love my Nautique!

My friends got a Mali-boo.... no comparison.

dom.pash96, did you get that 180 wake to wake yet? If not, pull the handle to your hip and land leaning away from the wake (over your toes) and you got it, no sweat.

Man I LOVE wakeboarding.. I wish my family would buy a damn wakeboarding boat so bad, my buddy may be buying an air nautique soon so I'm keepin my fingers crossed.. here's a video of me behind our last boat.. just a stingray bowrider.. on an old CWB board with those DAMN big fins haha, not much pop out of this board and I actually broke the board in half last summer on the seem, I have an O'brien Vice 136 on the way to my door and we have a 27 foot Wellcraft Excel cabin cruiser now that throws a BIG wake and it's actually not white washed it's pretty smooth at around 21 mph, so I'm hoping the Wakeboards here today for the lake this weekend!

and here's me and some buddies who haven't really wakeboarded or anything much tryin out the wakeskate too! all falls haha, me at the end trying the 360... I think I'm gonna get better this summer at jumps, I'm very very comfortable on the surface but never had the wakeboard with good pop or the wake to do much... hopefully this wakeboard will be a lot better

Adam Its too bad your not closer, Ive got a friend of mine gettin ready to dump his 99 Super Sport Nautique (converted to a Super Air) for cheap. Hes in lots of financial trouble and needs to get it gone quick. Hes also got a Moomba Boomerang he needs to sell, also for Cheap cheap. Its got a tower and all. Not a tique, but it works.

Those wakeskate falls are like Im watching myself. Ive been wakeboarding since the late 90s and just started wake skating. Ive only done it a handful of times so far. Man, its tricky. But so much fun. Wakeboarding, you get to a point where your out one day and you cant land something that you can usually do blindfolded, gets all frustrating... Wakeskating, no matter how much I eat it, or how bad, I come up laughing evertime. Its GREAT. Gettin into wakesurfing to.... Mucho awesome.

Adam, 2 more things, 1. get rid of that rope and get a non stretch line. A good one , straightline or accurate, not a cheapo. There 70 bucks and up, but its well worth it. Keep and eye on ebay or something. Makes jumping a lot easier, as you can load the line properly and get some ups. And 2., your quote rocks!

i was doing wakeboarding more often, but i got bored of actually knocking myself out on the edge of the wake trying to clear it, so i picked up wakeskating, its like wakeboarding but wihtout any bindings! its fun and whe u fall off you dont hit the water as hard

ikll get some pics when i get home

Yeah wake skating is pretty fun. I was just doing that and wakeboarding this morning.
The non stretch is great even for skating. Well worth the money. Also, it will help you to load the line and get accross those wakes, whether skatinf or boarding. Maybe try shortening up the rope a bit as well.
If you need any more info, shoot me a PM or something. Im a Certified wake coach in FL, USA.
