Airborne, The repair came out real nice. Glad I was able to guide you in the right direction. It is always nice to see a damaged airplane repaired and flying again. I enjoy repairing and rebuilding almost as much as building from a kit. But I enjoy flying the most. I'll try to upload the picture of our Aeroworks 100 cc Extra 300 again.

Very impressive rebuild. It is a good talent to have. It inspires me to rebuild a few wrecks the next time I see one put in the trash bin at the flying field thats what I'll attempt. It would be great to show somebody their old plane fixed back up in new mono or ultra kote good as new.

Thanks Brian,

I see guys throw planes in the trash barrel that I could easily re-build. I could keep myself stocked with planes if I just had the time to re-build them.

My Yak 54 still looks like new. Haven't flown it much since my son and I got the 100cc Extra 300 from Aeroworks. We've put almost 350 flights on the Extra this summer.

I hope too fly the Yak a little more this fall before it gets to cold.

Thanks Airborne, Merry Christmas to you also. We are having our family Christmas dinner as I type this. I'd better get back to eating.

Well it's hard to believe that it was 3 1/2 years ago that I finished the re-build of my son's Aero-Works 1.20 Yak 54. I said I would post a flying video when I got the Yak finished but never have yet. I finally have a video to post. It's only about 3 minutes long as we were trying to learn how to video the model in flight. It came out fairly good for the first try. Hopefully this summer we will video some more of our flying. The Yak has a lot of flights on it over the last 3 1/2 years but still looks and flyes as good as new.

Hope this works as this is the first time we've tried to post a video in the forums. May take a couple of tries.

Ralph and Nick White
