This type of S-boat is also something I'd like to build one day. Yours looks like it is coming along nicely. Good luck with it!

Hi Guy's
the front torpedo tubes are a pain in the butt. mine are not perfect. but after two days and alot of wasted wood I am happy with the end result. I still have filling and sanding to do. but the basic shape is there. looks close to the real deal. have a great weekend craig

It's taking shape nicely. You are doing a great job. This is going to be most impressive on the water! [sm=thumbup.gif]

hi kmot
thanks, I am very pleased with the build so far. I have had to adjust the patterens alittle do to the enlargeing process they were off. but plans are only a guide. I will paint this up in a camo pattern light grey over dark grey. and I am only going with two props. three is not in the budget. I am going to try and make it with working torpedos? time will tell. it will have a presence on the water. all the best craig

Hi Guy's
The armored hood is turning out great. I had expected this would be harder to do. but the boys in poland really made it easy. anyone looking to build an e-boat should get a copy of this papermodel. got to run. more volleyball tonite?? all the best craig

What do you mean by cardboard model? [sm=confused.gif]

Is the armored superstructure made out of Plastruct or plastic sheet? Looks like it turned out nice. [8D]

hi ron
the book is a cardmodel that I enlarged to 78 inches long. so the patterens are cardmodel patterens. just transfer these to plastic sheet or wood cut and build. it is so easy to do. the hood did turn out very nice. looking forward to getting more done. craig I posted some pic's. this should show you what I am talking about. Hi Guy's
I wanted some figures for my e-boat, so I did a check on the scale. it is almost 1/18 scale. being 2 inches to long. so I figured it almost rite[]. there are some good figures out there. I picked up 5 21st century figures from monkey depot on sale. I spent 20 total with shipping. now I can use 18th scale guns. toys rus here I come. all the best craig

1/18 actually works out far better than 1/20 as far as accessorizing goes. That was a fortuitous 'mistake'.
