When he gets site site up and running there is suposed to be a "Grand opening" sale but so far he isn't saying on what. There is also a cash-back deal on eBay right now for 10% off. I don't think that the prices will go up any time soon but you might be seeing a lot of used Zen's going up for sale! The site was supposed to be opened last Monday but still isn't online yet.
If you went back and looked for when Zen's first came out you'd see that they went for a lot more than what they do now so I don't see the price going higher unless there is some big inflation or jump in the exchange rates.
Bruce is in Barstow so shipping would really be fast to you. It took 3 days to get it up here via UPS.

I've got a WHH magnum 57, is the RCMK similar enough to the zen that my exhaust will exit at the same point? Right now my exhaust fits like a glove, any difference will require some serious modification. I sure would love to see my magnum going 45mph plus, she sure can handle it.

I don't see why not as everything is supposed to be the same as far as the mounting goes. The exhaust port is a little larger though so it really needs a 1" pipe to help it breathe.

I did find that the angle of the exhaust flange is just a bit different then a Zenoah.

Will this motor install into a standard 5” stringer with little adjustments. Motor mounts etc. is running a clutch ok with this motor. I run a WHH magnum57 and a 52” man of war v hull. Anyone know if I’ll have to change the throttle linkage and anything else that has to be done to install this motor. A 5.2 hp sounds like fun if it’s not a pain in the a$$ to install?????

It should be just about a bolt-in for a Zen. I'll find out in a week when I get my motor mounts.

The RCMK S-254 is PLUG & PLAY into the place of a Zenoah.

* Only issue is the Jug is a tad bigger around .. Actually SQUARE and a tad taller.
Water line routing is different as well.

I say go for it ,my mate sent his for me to fit into the t boat im building for him.All i can say is it looks like a very nice motor and seems to be as Scott says plug and play.Havent tried it in my other t boat as he sent it with new mounts on,if you look at the pic that measurement is between the mounting plates of the mounts and its exactly the same as on my zenoah i just checked 3 3/8" hope this helps.

About time on both of them!
The site was supposed to have been online about 2 weeks ago and Scott was waiting for them to post his article.
I can see the Zen owners really crying now! The stock class has a new player in town.

If you ordered it from Bruce at Gizmo I'd bet on that getting to you first! Mine was supposed to go in the Cat that I've got on order but may go into the one sitting here if the wait is too long.

that’s going to be one fast cat. my problem is i hate waiting and usually defer from the original plan and pay for it later. i really want to just put the modded G260 back in the WHH hull and maybe put the RCMK in something else like a magnum57 or a Bonzi hull ???

The word is to use the 1" diameter pipe kit from CC Racing on the RCMK's for best performance. Me. I'm cheap so I'm using what I have so far but am also looking at what American RC Boats has. I just can't see the big bucks that they want for some of these tuned pipe setups.

I use the 7/8" Torque master from Bruce. Already had it ordered when everyone started talking how the 1" are the way to go. Will most likely get me a 1" next summer.

If you talk to bruce they found the 7/8 header and the 2" powermaster pipe produced the most power on there dyno, 1" won't hurt though, i have both and seems to run great on either, I have the s-254 in a zippkit rocket and a 254 evo in a thunderbolt from aeromarine, running in the 70's with no real tuning yet. Both engines are solid performers. The 929 carb is excellent, Holds a tune !
Zenoha better step up and build a better stocker because the RCMK is a very powerful engine for the money. The evo is a monster power engine, runs smooth and starts easy, but takes a bit of time to break-in compared to the Zen. But you can put a zen ring in it and reduce this issue.
