Oh man, now we're talking. See, I knew I could make a difference. Yippie Skippie! Who do we talk to in order to get this started. Oh wait, this weekend is the L.A. Jets. You think we can wait until next weekend to start this? Woo hoo!

I have an idea. Lets make Saturday and Sunday engine break-in only. No flying allowed. Only engine break-in. Any spot on the field you choose.

That would be great! I'll even supply all the nitro and gas! Bring your own beer though.

Fyi, I finished rebuilding the Gee Bee last night. The Iron Horse will fly again

Jim, can I test run it in your living room?

Actually, I think it would be better in the bathroom because the accoustics in there are much better and I think it would sound awesome. Please, don't forget to flush though!

I agree with you on this one. Its not as entertaining as flying so I'll keep my thoughts to myself from now on regarding this matter. I guess you'll have to ask when they are going to be putting the stations back in and where they are going. Last I heard, it was going to probably be the north end of the electric field because they are brining in another storage container to be used for all the Event stuff. That's why they poured those concrete supports you see where the station was previously. I believe that's the only reason its being moved, not because too many people were complaining about it. Personally, I still think that area next to the control line would be perfect, plus, they'd be able to add a few more stations if they wanted to. Oh well, enough said on my part. I hope everyone's flying safe and having a great time.

since nobody seems to want the break-in stabnds next to their flying area, how about putting them in that triangular section of land just north of the control line area that's often used for overflow parking during popular events?

heck, it shouldn't bother the control line folks since the wind usually blows south to north and they make lotsa noise anyways and would be used to it.... and it's far enough away from the electric area.

like, it doesn't take up a whole lotta room anyways.
