HI,

I ran my brand new slash yesterday and found that braking while running forward is not that great, is it normal? I dont have any experience with XL-5, VXL braking on my rustler vxl is great. I have 50/50 on my Tx and its in sport mode.

Is there something wrong with the ESC? or shall i reprograme it and see?

Please advise.

I would try to re-calibrate the TX to the ESC and see if that gives any improvment

How exactly is this re-calibrating done? I have the same issue with my XL5, but mines a Stampede. 3 months ago when the truck was new the tires would slide when I hit the brakes. Now the wheels won't lock, and it takes forever to stop.

Bottom line, the XL-5 ESC and Titan 550 combo in the Slash just doesn't have much braking power. I noticed that right away when I bought mine.
