Is there some way to color in the writing on tires? To make them white lettering?

dont know if they would work but you might be able to use either a paint pen from a craft store, or that stick that you use to redo the white on full size tires. just my ideas. good luck

for my 1:1 scale '66 bug I used a Q-tip and some craft paint to do the tire lettering.
it doesn't stick too good if anything touches it but otherwise works nice and looks good. (except for the fact that the car has 4 differint brand tires...)
you could try testers model paint but on my models (glue together, not RC) any paint that got on the tires never dryed...(what? they were too shiney, I wanted them duller, lol)
I used a "tire touch up" marker on my Tamiya beetle's tire lettering, that stuff was still sticky in 2001 and I had applied it in 1997!!!!!!

the paint pen or even white out would probably be the best thing.
THE BEST thing that you could use would be seat paint (for real cars) this is what I use alot of times to paint the bodys since its more flexable then normal lexan paint.
thing is masking the tires off to use this stuff would be a nightmare.
good luck!

yeah you just put the paint on like a paper plate then dab the eraser in it and get the excess off, then just use the eraser to "stamp" the paint onto the tire.

spray paint a piece of cardboard and lay the tire on its side on the wet paint.....pull it off and touch it up with a toothpick and the letters are white.Too little or too much paint on the cardboard will leave bare spots or globs so be careful...I'd practice that first on an old set to learn the characteristics of your paint.

I used a pencil called Uni Paint Marker...it's made my Mitsubishi...haven't got the faintest clue where to get it in the US though...

It needs a little touch-up now and them but it is easy to apply and easy to remove the exess (sp?) paint...(It's a "rattle" pen)
