Michael, half the event is not the flying, but the hanging out, rv hopping and even watching the night flying. I know, I know, but until I actually watched it last year, I used to think some of the same things. Why?? Very cool, very cool. Vic, Your Butcher Bird is my favorite target, looking forward to putting more holes in it. T.D. Dave, flying is the best, but just making it up for the event is nice too. (this coming from a guy that totally hates to spectate mind you) Stop by the "camp", the barbe cue should be going Friday and Saturday night. Rudy, outstanding, looking forward to seeing you there flying this year. GB, Camarillo is my favorite place to fly a warbird. The terrain just gives you goosebumps. Jutting out hills on the left, a barn out deep to the right, more hills behind and to the right, and some valleys to actually loose sight of your plane in (I have done it and survived, but dont want to ever do it again) and lastly, the runway is narrow (when flying giant warbirds) and short. Keeps you on your toes. Counting down the days now Gents! Ray
