I'm thinking about getting the large one for my Saito 450R3 do you think it will be too much power?

Hi,
old saying; too much power is just enough, don't forget it's a racer!
450R3 should be fine

I had one of the first once, which came on the market and still fly em, all depends on the your style, if you know what I mean!

Too me the air frame is OK and the price was right for the size.

Hope you will have as much fun as I have.

Rgds

You are right the landing gear design is a joke.  I have posted a number of mods that have help keep everything on the wing from destroying the wing. They do help but had a hard landing in a crosswind and literally destroyed the wheel pants. The cuff and strut covers were fine because of the mods. The last straw was trying to get parts for the last three months. ''Sorry we have no parts for the gear''  They have no idea when they will get any. I have since pieced together the wheel covers as best I could but have not flown it since. It has about a dozen flights with decent take offs and landings but all it takes is one hard landing and it is done

Jim W

Could you post the link to your mods?

Thanks.
