Andy,

Ran across this. Don't know if you had seen it. Might help.

Bob

So tell me what problem you are having. There is no need to over complicate this. Have you used the manual?

Does you Cularis have a motor?

Did you select a glider profile and 4 servo wing (4WNG) type? Page 10-11

What channels did you use for your servos? Page 30 gives you the channel assignments you should use for a glider using the glider profile and 4 wing servo type.

Do you have your basics done? End point adjusted, servos centered? All moving in the correct direction? - See page 28 for the index that is relevant to gliders

See page 29 for the glider switch assignments

See page 30 for some useful tips

dual rates or dual expo - your choice page 18 or 20

Aileron differential - page 25

aileron to rudder mix - page 24

Flap to elevator mix - Page 33

If you have a motor you will have on/off control from the front left switch (see diagram on page 29)

You don't need every mix in the book. I would suggest that you try to enable only these to start.

aeajr,

I was able to get most of this done today, but now I am having a problem with my L flap in that when I input L aileron it goes up but the flap will not. On the R side the flap will go up when you give R input.

I used 4 wing

1 R aileron, 5 L, 2 ele, 4 rudder, 6&7 flap

I have used the manual, some thing just did not seem to be working at first. Other than the deal with my flap, every thing is working good for now. I just need to figure this one out. I did set up crow and flap aileron mixing so that may be the problem.

Thank you

Turn off Crow and flap aileron mixing. You don't need them now.

Get the plane flying with the mixes I gave you and forget the rest. When you have the plane flying wonderfully, when you are comfortable using what I gave you, THEN you can start adding mixes one at a time.

How do you guys place your receivers as it seems quite tight in my easyglider and I am worried about internal interference?

I have hand launched it on flat ground to get is set up but am waiting for my high start to arrive. If the 50mph wind would stop I would go hand launch again. I will see what I can do for a video once I sling it.

Crash my Cularis a few time. Ripped nose off, broke all wing servo, lost rudder in flight. Dog lunch, But she a hard bird to kill. Watch my video on DOG CHASE CULARIS and CRASH CULARIS . What is under the hood, 900K motor, 40amp ESC, All medal gear servos ( replacement of the one I broke HS55 AND HS81), 10BEC, one Gyro for the roll, just to smooth thing out. All from Hobby City for under 100 USA dollars not including cularis, Battery 2100, 20C from hobby city 18$, OH and lots of white Duct tape. Those strip on the wing and tail are not paint, they are color duct tape.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YRoD40fs1zw Warning this Video is not for the weak in heart.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYI-uZoLMNc After repair, I show how to replace wing servo and what not to do for wing connectors.
