Tamiya Semi/3speed fans rejoice?

There are already other 2.4ghz radios with analog trims out there. But Futaba works best with the MFC.

Nope.... for years i was having issues with my kneecap "tracking" wrong.... well its coming back to bite me. over the summer i had a plate and screws inserted into my right leg to "fix it straight' after the doctor cut it. Well turns out my knee is wearing out and the pain is becoming pretty bad.... cant do much at this point [>:]

Interesting. So if you paint with black, you back it with, what....?

I tend to apply very light coats - (I have had an issue or 2 with too heavy coats, paint pooling, screwing it all up, so I'm extra paranoid), so I'm sure I'd need more than 2. But - I get your point. Instead of dumping a whole can on it, just get it visually good, and back it.

I just don't fully understand the backing concept. Please elaborate.

on some colours, like my Touareg, on a bright day the light does slightly shine through it, so by being 'backed' with white or silver, it would appear solid, i think backing makes most difference on metallic colours.

Woo hoo i'll have an Onyx 230 by the end of the week! Now I'll finally get to drive my 18T again. I was beginning to go into withdrawal, sleeping with it by my pillow, carrying it around the house, etc.
