If you drive circles around yourself at say 10 ft does it run ok, or is this 'runaway' at a distance. You might want to install a failsafe and check that your batteries are secure in radio and receiver pack.

Status: offline 		NO. As soon as I start it now it wants to just take off. I set the carbs idle and then it will still do it buy die when I hit the brake. I'm wondering if the rod from the servo to the carb is wrong. Maybe those stops on the rod got knocked out of whack or something?

Make sure trim on radio is not turned up. Also try adjusting the spring tension on the throttle rod.

Status: offline 		If your engine is stopping when you hit the brakes turn your idle screw up, your idle screw hold the carb open a certain amount. and turn your trim so your carb is just at where the idle screws holds it open just enough and then it opens all the way.

Why Engine quits when I brake

also check

why engine revs right after starting.

it will solve your problem

Status: offline 		I got it. Runs like a champ now. How long should a tank of fuel last? Is that dependent on tuning? Lean = less fuel consumption? Rich = more fuel consumption?

Don't know if this is okay to post as this should be a locked thread if not  delete.

This is a post on the vids I made shimming the diffs but you may not need to shim them and with filling them just take out the 4 screws (have not done a vid on this I may well do one)  just be easy on the screws.  open up and be careful not to disturb the gears inside and fill almost all the way then put back together still easy on the screws.

Status: offline 		Any vids on how to change the drive cup "c" on a valcano S30 differential? Even some helpfull advice would be nice. I have the diff out of the vehicle, removed back cover, have the gear in hand with the cups sticking out both sides........................Now how the heck do I get them out. they are not held in with a set screw  or any "e" clips that I can see

Status: offline 		ive ran into major problems with my lightning epx pro "brushless" .changed to a reedy motor 3300kv same size as stock ... the gearing"pinion and spur"..... i wanted to go faster.. changed the pinion to a 31... 3 runs, blown!.... changed to a 65t steal spur, pinion blows right away... back and forth with spurs and pinions... its getting pricey!... now ive been running a 3s lipo.... could that be my problem? too much power? would a 2s lipo work better? and why is that steal spur blowin pinions out right away? ... when meshing my gears i do the old piece of paper trick.. is that maybe my problem? i call redcat tech support and there not to much help... they dont advise runnin 3slipo or gearing up past what they sell...... pleas help me ! im a hpi/traxxas guy but i love my redcats and i want it to keep up with the big boys! .... WHAT AM I DOING WRONG!?!?!
