I see tons of unanswered Q's here. Are you's throwing in the towel? What's the scoop here?

Yes.....think you're right I'm new into the Vulcan and I'm rebuilding my SE with all the aluminum options available for the MIF. Takes a lot of tweeking to get the parts to fit.........but I love doing it

Well....it's too bad this forum isn't frequented more. I have the VTX version of the Vulcan, so I feel a little "out-of-place" in this IRC forum. The regular 1/16, 1/18. mini, etc. forum, doesn't seam to have much of a nitro following.

I'm really pleased with my VTX by the way. I did a few minor tweaks to it before I started driving it, and so far, no trouble with it at all. Probably most of the "tweaks" could apply to the Vulcan.

Oops....one problem I havn't fully resolved. Fuel tank o-ring leaks. I have another o-ring that seems to be OK, but fit isn't optomised. I must check out the plumbing section of the hardware strore........

Yep, not much action here. Got my little VTX 1/16 buggy running today. I forgot how much fun it is. Can't wait for snow. It's a blast on hardened snow (crusty). Controlled slides...."drifiting" (pun intended) is spectacular with a rooster-tail of light powder tailing the buggy.

I have changed the wheel bearings out. Original ones are pretty crappy and the buggy can pull to one side.
