Hello to all:

After reading an enjoin all the mods I have seen in this forum I decided to do a few on my own. Here are some pics and a list of the modifications:
1) Super Saver filter
2) Modified shocks to reduced travel by inserting spacers inside of them
3) Replaced radio with DX3S mainly to be able to monitor the temperature on the engine and tune it better
4) RPM bumpers
5) Aluminum wheele bar wheels with bearings
6) Pro-Line wheels and tires 40 series
7) Picco Red Dot
8) Buku Pipe
9) JR T filter for refueling. I do not like the idea of opening and closing that cap all the time so i took one of this filters from one of my helicopters
10) Custom painted body. It is painted fluorescent orange and it looks great, the picture does not show it good enough.

Enjoy

Very Cool and clean set-up. Is that 4908? Looks shorter chasis. I am waiting for a roll cage for the 4908. I found one and when I order it they said the were not out in the market yet, but they had them on their website
go figure. Is that Blue rubber boot for the Revo that you are using?

Hey guys, is that the BB Buku pipe that you're running with the RedDot. I have a 26Maxx that I am modifying and I have a BB Buku pipe and not sure which spring and divergent cone to use. I ordered the pipe for an LRP 28 so I have a big cone that I am sure is too big, but I also have what they call the red performance cone and then another cone with holes a little smaller, plus I have four springs, the red, brown green and blue, any help would be appreciated.

You need to use the High tension pring (RED) and the High power convergent cone (RED). That is the stock setting. So, if you have the red cone or spring running around you have to take it appart and install it.

thanks ducati, I already use the red spring with my LRP 28 so all I have to do is use the smaller red cone, the blue LRP cone that BUKU sent has considerably larger holes than the stock cone or the hiperf cone.

michael:

That is SWEEEEEEEEEET That is one superb job in modification. The body, well what can I say, it is great! Do you still have the contact information on file from when you got the body? I just spent 40 for a Prographics body and two cans of paint. I would pay the extra money for the skulls

Thanks for the pics

What nitro % are you using? I am running 20% Traxxas fuel. The manual says that if you use 30% you need to shim the head, anyways I ran some 30% from my helicopter and the results were outstanding. I did not put any shims on the head, that is the reason for my question.

I running 25% Monster. Wanted to go 30% but would have had to add a shim to the Red Dot. Still up in the air on this one.
But if you ran the 30%. What to do?????????????

I will run it again today with 30% and will let you know how it does. Last time I ran it on grass today I will run it on pavement.

Well, it did great with 30% but gears on the trani desintegrated That is a lot of power; I managed to get a new trani for $48 on Ebay
