Status: offline 		Can you set the timing on the long black can speed 400 motors? Mine is going thru a 3:1 gearbox so I assume it wont run real hot out of the box. How do you time motors anyway? I had directions for my EDF motors but I didnt jot it down on my pc.

Status: offline 		Timing of brushed motors is not hard but normaly the timeing
is nutural, But they sell tools to rotate the back of the can the brush postion I cut the little ears or crimps to rotate it easyer
listen to the motor it will talk to you also watch the amp meter
max current is max heat. But if your 480 long 400 is heating allready maybbe smaller prop and not timing. If the comutator
is not true or the brushes seated properly arcing then ?? But
the brushes can be seated by very low rpm small battery in water
i prefer. CU
