I think you should vote for #2. In fact, I'm surprised it's even a contest at this point.
I found the pic of me 'shooting the Blue Angels' on the internets...just happen to be wearing the shirt that day.
Gordon, on the other hand, must have at least $5k wrapped up in his photoshoot...and a spectacular one it is.
Above and beyond, to say the least. Gordon IS the Travelin' T master.

A note about the Blue Angels photo. While investigating permission to use the photo from the photographer,
I discover that the shooter is a 13 year-old kid in Vegas...Christopher Trajano. This kid has some of the most amazing
images of Military Jet Aircraft that you will find anywhere. Check it out some of them at www.nellisspotters.com

Go Gordon. Go Gordon.

Next time I think someone should wear their shirt backwards so we can see who they are...unless of course, you're in front of a Blue Angel!

Heck no ... you're seeing my better side this way !

Way to go Paul ! Now ahead by a country mile, as it should be. I can tell ya that if I had a chance to go back and stand next to some stinking (literally, AND profusely!) camel / Bedouin or be that close to the Blues ... Blues win ! Plus, it's time you got more recognition for all the work you do in designing "the last shirts you'll ever wear" (with apologies to MIB for the plagiarism).

One week left to cast your vote before this poll closes.
Of all the jet guys in this forum, only 34 votes in the 1 week it's been up?
C'mon, is it that much of a hassle? If so, why?
Would enjoy hearing why you elected not to vote.
Could go a long way toward my decision to do the contest in the future,
as I put quite a bit of time in on everything that goes into it...as well as the effort of the entrants to get the shots from around the world.
Your comments would help me out a great deal.
Thanks,
Paul

Paul,
I can't think of anyone who doesn't appreciate all the kewl stuff you do on this forum. (I would vote a few more times if you'd let me.)

There are so many great photo and video contributors on this forum but whenever I see a thread with uncljoe or SDCrashmaster as the OP I'm right on it.

Thanks, Paul.

Bob

My apologies, Paul. I thought I had pm'd a great big thank you for that so I checked my "sent" file and...nothing. The Niner paint scheme was beautiful and I have shown it to a lot of football fans. Everyone is very impressed...as am I.

Again, thank you very much.

See you at California jets. I'm trying to find a way to get my F-16 down there but it doesn't look good.

Bob
P.S. Unsolicited...VOTE FOR THE SPHINX!!!!

How is this for non-committal Paul:

Gordon should win if it's just a travel category he actually went to a far off land and took his life in his hands (okay only slightly - there were recent bombings in Egypt) to get the pyramids pic.

For cuteness Dave and his daughter should win, and for pure cool factor you should win for the pic of you with the Blues.

:-)

Boy – if you've ever been on a bus driven by an Egyptian, you'll know just how much I put my life at risk. On top of that, the cruise ship was under quarantine after the stop in Egypt due to the number of people who were hospitlised after eating Egyptian food.

It was an interesting trip, but I will not be going back for a Nile cruise as had originally been planned. Out of all the places I've been, I've never before experiened such institutionalised squalor.

Ah-haahh!! So, you think Dave is cute ? I'll be sure to tell him.

Can't wait for the "CA Jets '09" shirts !! Only 17 days to go !

I Vote for Dave Presta and his beautiful little daughter! To me, that makes a bold statement and says, "The BEST things in life are inexpensive, but Daddy's little Princess gets whatever she wants no matter what the cost!" You dont have to travel far to get my Vote!

The posting of that would not be good

This is the last day to cast your vote. Poll end at 9 pm this eve.
Thanks to all those who have already voted, and especially those throughout the world who have no direct connection to the event, but who were just good sports because of a common interest in the brotherhood of RC Jetness.

I'm running away with it ...very much to my surprise.
Paul

Thanks to all who voted and hope we do it even bigger next year.
