Status: offline 		How can I straighten out the fuslage of my Morris Knife kit? I finished sheeting it the other day and now it is warped. Need help!

Bummer about the fuse. But, you really have not done alot of work. Trying to get a slight warp out with a heat iron may work but over time in the sun I bet the warp will come back. You may try removing the sheeting from the side finished last and re sheeting being more careful to put weight on the fuse to keep it flat until dry then see how it looks. If any question just start over. Good luck, Pete

Status: offline 		If it were me I would wet it with windex(ammonia) and slightly bend it the other way and let it sit overnight. You may be able to get some of it out by shrinking the covering on the opposite side of the curve.....................John

Status: offline 		I really have not done anything yet! I do have the front of the fus proped up about 2 inches and the tail on the table with a sand bag in the middle. So far nothing has happened. I will try to use the amonia and water, mist it and I was thinking of taking some angle iron the lenght of the fus. and making a press so that I do not over warp it the other way. I am concerned that if I wet it and lay it on the table and put weight on top the thing will never dry out. Any thoughts?

Status: offline 		My wing and fuse were warped. I used the ammonia and water trick to straighten them out as stated previously. Just this week on the wing. Works for me!!!!!!!

Status: offline 		If you look down the length of the fusalage you can see the warp. if you lay it on a flat surface is may be warped about 1/16".

Status: offline 		TAP, I don't think that is significant at all and won't make any difference in flight. Have you covered the fuse ? When you shrink the covering, that small warpage will correct itself.

Status: offline 		I agree. No more than that you wont notice. Just cover it and when shrinking the covering bend it the other way and tighten up the covering and that will probably take care of it....If it doesnt...I would fly it like it is...........John
