flydoc -> RCV 90 fuel consumption (6/12/2003 7:40:12 PM) Can anyone enlighten me as to the fuel consumption rate of this engine (RCV 90). I will be using them an my B-17, but I am limited by space to 16 oz tanks. what sort of run time is that likely to give me? Thanks for your help.

Otto Kudrna -> RCV 90 fuel consumption (6/13/2003 9:02:58 AM) The 90 which I am running with a 19x13 Master Airscrew will give me 1.5 Minutes /oz. This will depend on the Top RPM which your props will allow I just set up and sold some Zinger 15x12 3 blade props which will turn at 5500, that is a little too fast, and way too much power for the P-38 they are going on. Also the engines should be matched for compression, timing and gear mesh so they run the same otherwise you may have some trouble with thrust. Otto Kudrna
