FLOAT FLY SATURDAY MAY 16 & SUNDAY MAY 17, 2009 BINGHAMTON, NY
THE MODELERS OF BINGHAMTON (MOB) SPONSOR A FLOAT FLY FROM THE SPACIOUS BEACH ALONG THE 53 ACRE LAKE AT NATHANIEL COLE PARK.
PARK ACCESS IS FREE FOR PILOTS AND SPECTATORS. AMA SANCTIONED, PILOT ONLY LANDING FEE APPLIES. FOOD AND REFRESHMENT IS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE.

FLYING 10:00 AM TO 5:00 PM BOTH DAYS, $8 LANDING FEE ONE DAY OR $10 FOR BOTH DAYS, PILOT DOOR PRIZES AWARDED.

Hi folks,
Just updated the initial float fly notice with the initial prize sponsors
we have received so far. Dynamic Balsa and SeaPlane Supply have
provided some useful and generous contributions for Brian to award
to some fortunate pilots.

Will you join the MOB for the Spring Float Fly this year?

Balsa USA has been extremely generous with the donation of a Northstar seaplane kit.
MicroFasteners sent some very useful selections from their fastener catalog.
The other sponsor who joined the cadre is Jim's R/C a local hobby supply shop and web outlet.
Brian obviously has a pool of quality prizes which the registered pilots will be in the running
for.

Put the MOB float fly on your calendar as the event has many reasons for a pilot to have a great time.

Cant Wait to get back on the water and then to the air. Hope you are making it this year... I still have some work to do on the Mariner, as I took the four stroke off to put on a Cub.

If you live close to Binghamton, NY and have never been to one of our float flys, come on down. The site is great and the people are even Better!!!!! See you all in May!!

This just arrived today 4/29/2009, Boca Bearing has generously contributed an
assortment of attractive and useful items including a very generous gift certificate,
several multi tools, a shirt and many assorted graphic apliques.

After the enjoyment of flying ends the fun of pilot awards will begin.

Hey Mobflier,

Are you really going to get that plane wet this year?

One of life's detours prevented me from getting to the MOB float fly
last year. I bet your hanger has been filling since we flew at Cole Park 2 years ago.
We both need to make up splash and air time to recoup the lost oportunities.
