Status: offline 		I am running 2 bat packs through a y harness with one switch. Is there any draw backs ( besides weight) that you know of? Trying to get away from fast charging at the feild. These packs are NiMH 1200mah. Switch is Cermark heavy duty.

Status: offline 		One of the purposes of running two battery packs and two switches is redundancy. By running both battery packs from a "Y" harness and using one switch, all you have gained is extra capacity. You still have a single source of potential failure...the single switch.
