Rather than running long threads as had been done in the past this format like the rest of the forums I felt would be easier and work best so let's give it a shot and see if it's better!

Also, and importantly so, since this forum is dedicated to Hitec, and Mike Mayberry, we ask that others kindly refrain from responding to posts in this forum, specifically to answer another posters question. This is not to stifle altering opinions, however, since Mike has offered his time to give the "official" company response, we ask that he be allowed to do so, without conflicting arguments.

That being said, we hope that should you desire to expand the questions, or ask for clarification, that you feel free to do so.

So if you have a question for Mike, put the question in the title and start your own thread so it can be addressed and easier for you to search as well as subscribe to so only YOU get a notice when YOUR question has been answered! Pretty good, huh?

Thanks to Mike Mayberry for his support and help.

This is two firsts:
1. First brand new radio (have only had "used" planes & radios)
2. First computer radio
Purchased to avoid taking so many radios to the field and to start using a fifth channel (mostly retracts), will move into flaps later.

question: Is there any reference material that will make setting up this radio easier for the first time digital user?. I'm just a bit intimidated by the manual. Nothing wrong with the manual, I'm just challenged by the technology.

Thanks,
martin
