a refresh of todays NEW UPDATES!

well folks here are the pics of this NEW 23cc zenoah engine and f1 FILTER kit that arrived this morning and i have to say i love them both,the zenoah already feels a lot more responsive than the solo low down,even though im just breaking it in.

i have everything fitted (like a glove by the way) and in the break in process.all this new engine required from solo was clutch case and clutch/block.

broke it in and all i can say is twice the bottom end of the solo and a lot more top end...this engine is QUICK!!![:-]

well i ran this car with new ENGINE/FILTER set up and am amazed to be honest,its running great....very good low down torque with the 23cc zenoah it just goes like a bullet,i think now as i have it broke in that the top end also could be a little higher than the solo.

DELIGHTED with it now.

i will upload videos soon.....

all depending on intrest here.?[;)]

did you ever consider an onroad (sometime) maybe?

man its nice to have two of them,you would love an onroad aswell man.....

must get some new videos up now of the new ENGINE/FILTER set up.

NEW DAY OUT WITH THIS MACHINE...


hello all so i finished work early today at 3 o clock and went off to run the car,all i can say is i used 4tanks of petrol trouble free...

you can see at the start leaving my house with camera woman(girlfriend nicola) goen to our running spot.

great day,great fun,weather was gorgeous....

love the new zenoah engine and f1 filter combo,very fast.

That is certainly a strong and good engine!The air intake looks nice,but i guess it is not so nice on my engine as it stands upright[:)]

hello all again

so once again a lovely day here in ireland today and i finished work early,half day friday. so that meant one thing.........lol off with my machine to run it.

so once again here you will see lots of pics this time (thanks nicola) and good videos.from u tube also by the way....

i done one "on track" routine maintenance tutorial video,this is the usual maintenance routine with me when i run this machine.

lads im not joking this carson is bulletproff now with the upgrades i have done to it,four tanks again today and going like a freight train...lol

now this is the body shell on the car from day one and has seen some action as you can see all dirt and oil etc etc,it was washed twice......lol it is my driving body and i have a second one for display.
i have taken out the front/rear windscreen for cooling,and am going to replace with mesh grille,it doesnt affect aerodynamics as it flows straight through and improves performance dramaticly.....big differnce in power now with the f1 filter getting plenty cool air.

some more UPDATES.

i have just added a carbon fiber rear upper brace for the diff mounts and the large engine mount,great job.
placed another order last wednsday which should be with me early next week for two white delrin upgraded spur gears.

this stuff is lighter yet stronger than the stock fg/carson spur gears,also more tyres on the way,this time i ordered some pmt cronos.


got my track sorted out today,fair nice job,made a little track with cones....

had a great day again yesterday with car steven ran it for three hours,at the end though my large engine mount packed up,i had reached the stage of the longest screws to hold it in place and even they wernt holding the engine from movement.

so on to hobbythek i went and ordered both engine mounts alloy and some more tyres lol

fg large engine mount are actually differnt where the holes allign to chassis,and where upper rear brace secures it also the fg mount is to small to reach it due to carsons rear a-arm mounts,they have the rear a-arms sitting higher on the chassis.

GREAT NEWS!!![:D][:D]

i have a race track available to me for the weekend.it is a kart racing track in abbeyfeale belong to a friend of mine,i have this in mind for a long time.after a conversation this evening with the man i am allowed to run/race my models there any time i want.also i am thinking of setting up a website and organising race 1/5th events from forums here at home,i will try and organise race days from my laptop/new website and get people to race here with there 1/5th scales. GREAT NEWS!!!

i will be going there early next week for a few test laps on the track with my carson model which will have all the new parts also going on it before hand,the ones i mentioned above. and i will check it out.......[;)]

seriously considering of setting up this website to organise these events here though!!
i can organise the whole lot from home.....and get all the people i know with onroads to come. maybe offroad racedays also in my local football field lol

only one fourseeable problem i can see is the track might be hard to see in places,i must check it out and see now though....
may be a nice angle in it some where to stand for good visability.

can start to order some new bits i need. tell me mate how much was the shipping for your stuff i,ve been thinking about ordering some stuff and i,m wondering weather to use then or get the stuff off e-bay the bits off my mate should be here this week so i want to get the other bits

14t layshaft
16t clutch pinion
48 diff
48 spur.....

this is the best for them man...
