well that was what i was thinking man,would be a great idea man,if ye could make fiberglass bodyshells they would sell like hot buns. the beetle is the most popular shell for models 1/5th,i have three thats why one needs to go. will let it off handy.. so you check your pms man?

hey steven no bother man,you got pm.... i will sort you out. your parts are shipped today man,and i will have tracking number shortly now when i get up off my lazy butt and go to car and get it lol thought your clutch pinion was metal,so what size is your clutch also? i sent you a 14 tooth layshaft metal pinion suitable for the layshaft diff/gear which is 48tooth. i will send you a 16tooth for clutch tomorrow man. cheers dc

hello mc spanners how are you,lucky you from the sunny newzeland. yes i love this car,it is a very very strong car with few small upgrades,im still in the testing process which proves that these very well priced largescale models are a great sucess.... basiclly man all i have done so far is futaba 3pm transmittor/reciever. upgraded the in car battery to 4500mah pack,replaced the servos x2 to good quality (hitek/thundertiger ace)few other very small things needed replacing but trust me man it makes it some strong machine the few upgrades. also i replaced the diff/mounts to alloy too. UPDATE!! i did run this car last saturday for 4 hours non stop,now i mean as you can see from the previous pictures it was run extremlly hard.......flawless!!! only thing that did pack up was the large engine mount which is plastic so i have an order coming early next week for that in alloy,actually the two as i was at it....what was happening was i had reached my limit of upsizing the screws that secure the mount to chassis and they had the plastic eaten away so i couldnt keep engine in one place.....thats all..........the alloy engine mounts make this a thing of the past in an onroad like this............its nothing like an offroad as its not subject to the same level of stress. this car so far is BOMBPROFF............and i love it....... the test continues [:-][;)]

im afraid no running this machine now this weekend as my parts wont be here untill monday CANT WAIT... whats coming for me you ask. 1/ alloy rear right hand side diff mounts to replace the ones with the snapped screws. 2/ alloy engine mounts x 2 to replace worn out plastic ones. 3/ 6 sets of tyres,four sets of fg dtm medium coumpond and two sets of pmt cronos. 4/new front steerings to replace one that pulled through plastic one. 5/ two delrin white strong spur gears 6/ decals for my freshly display bmw 320 si body shell which is just freshly painted. so i cant wait to go running this next week now.

steven i have an offer for you... if you make me a roll cage for my fg beetle same as your own one,you could check my thread or on internet for fg roll cages and take from that, if you make me one like yours man i will give you my black new body sheel for an fg beetle,man it would fit your hummer with little mods... what you think? is your hummer 4wd?

i,ll ask my mate if he fancy,s that mate .for me the trays r a yes as i,ll do them but he,.s the man with the cage,s the bettle tray looks rather like mine so that one might be easy to do but the carson one,s a tad differant ..wouldn,t be hard for u to do two card board cut ots off them and send them to me they need to be spot on mate

Hi! Since I have purchased an FG onroad we might be able to help eachother out with issue that might occur (I guess that you have to help me the most [:D] ) Is Carson onroad and FG onroad similar in some way or are they two completely different cars? I`m thinking about keeping the Zenoah 23cc for now and maybe buy a ported one later on. Do you think that 23cc is enough in these cars? I guess that the extra torque in the 26 cc will be too much for these kinds of cars?

hello good to see you on here man CANT WAIT to see pics of that car when you get it. the fg sportline and carson are idential out of the box,the only differnce is the plastics are a little better on the fg but wouldnt be a whole lot in the differnce. the 23cc are excellent,they are the peoper onroad engine now,they rev higer than the 26cc.... i put in my 26cc temporarly for a while and was no differnce at all bue to the cars gearing,they ran the same,the 23cc is more than man enough for your fg waqr. you will be very happy with it. any work done to it man?

hey mcspanners thats just sweet man.... lots of nice alloy there,how long you owned that thing,is that a 23cc i also see there under the hood lol? very nice,she has the comp chassis so yeah also? where do you run your ? i am just hooked on mine,love it.......cant run it enough.... waiting on my order of parts now and tyres friday so i will be up and running for the weekend.... i have a local gokarting track where i will be taking it to next,going to be madness........ [;)]
