Introducing the new 50cc Edge 540 ARF-QB! This completely new offering has been a long time in the making. Aeroworks was the first manufacturer to release an Edge to the aerobatic arf market, ever since we discontinued the original edge we have had many ,many requests for a new design. This new airplane is just that, a 100% redesign of the popular Edge 540 and it promises to be the best flying Edge you have ever flown! This new design incorporates all of the QB features we are known for. The 50cc Edge also includes a full canister/pipe tunnel for easy mounting, and a blind mounted cowling for a great scale appearance. It definitely looks like a tweaked design. I see a fatter fuse, swept canopy, and a shorter squared nose compared to the full scale Edge. I don't know if it's good or bad, but it's different. Looks cool!

Compare it to this pic and the canopy position looks dead on, I bet once we see more pics and angles of the plane you'll be able to tell alot better if the scaled down AW Edge is dead on.

The New Edge 540 QB has a very scale outline. We worked on the design of this model for a long time to make the best looking Edge 540 on the market. We plan on offering the plane in a couple of different color versions. Expected delivery is early to mid summer. Thank you Rocco/Aeroworks

Frankie the pictures you posted are Edge 540 Slicks that are used in The Redbull Air races, This model looks like the Original Edge 540

Slicks are totally different airframes based on the Extra, Edge and, the Laser. The first pic is a Slick and the 2nd is an "original" Edge 540. I like the AW Edge! It looks cool!

All I have to say as an Edge 540 fan is I sure hope you guys release the 100cc next. If there is a 100cc Edge, I will be one of the first in line to buy one of those. Very, very nice looking plane but I hope you guys pick some different schemes for the 100cc Edge. Nothing wrong with these at all, just would like something more along the scale lines for a scheme. Hey Guys, I got my Edge about two weeks ago, and they have taken the QB thing to the next level! I swear if you unbox it all, and leave it alone for a day, or two, it will build itself! I chose the Green, and absolutely love it! As soon as it comes out of the trailer, it has everyone's attention! With a cheapo, China, 52cc, the plane flys great. I bought this plane to start learning 3d, but I will say that it does IMAC very true! If I ever learn 3d, I will let you know how it does :). Even with multiple 100cc planes, the little AW edge540(.46-.61) has continued to be my favorite plane, but it should feel threatened now, as I am sure that this one will win me over within the next few flights! Rocco, and the rest of the crew, Great Job Guys!-Keep up the Good work!

Don, Sorry but the gear cuffs will not fit. They are a totally different designed gear in size and shape. Thank You Rocco/Aeroworks

Where is everybody ?!? Am I the only one to have bought, and flown one of these planes? I was suspecting that this thread would have exploded by now... I am actually having some problems with mine, and was hoping for others to post flying experiences so would know if it was just me??? Oh Well....
