THE PRINCIPAL MODIFICATIONS ARE ..

/ 2-NEW-GEARS 34x10 ( war-tank)..RATIO..184/1 .. (( Desert Camouflage Mega Missile Launcher RC Tank ))

/ 2-NEW-PIGNONS 8 TOOTH ( used-toy )

/ 4-TIRES ( TEX-EXACTO-CUT ) STOCK TIRES

/ THE LIMITING-STRAP ARE MADE WITH CHAINS ( VERY SOLID )

/ METAL ANTENNA WITH SPRING .

/ 4-SHOCKS ( long rod - TEXX - shock )

/ 2 ROLLINGS UP TO CUT.

/ THE BODY ( CHAINSAW-CUT ) LOWER-BODY.

/ ALL ELECTRONICS IS STOCK.

/ 2-STOCK-MOTORS / with 104 CAPACITOR each .

/ STOCK POWER-STEERING.

/ 2 DOGBONE/BRASS ( FLAPDING-DOGBONES ).

/ REMOVE THE RETURN-CENTER-SPRING ( SERVO-DIRECTION ) AND THAT HELPS GREAT..

/ ADDED WEIGHT IN FRONT OF CRAWLER.

/ SECOND BATTERY IN PARALLEL

. I HAVE A SMALL CRAWLER BETWEEN THE HANDS WHICH DOES NOT COST ME TOO MUCH AND WHICH STILL CLIMBS ON THE ROCK.

I SIMPLY DESIRED TO SHOW THAT ONE COULD MAKE SEVERAL MODIFICATIONS ON THE (( NEW-BRIGHT ROCKCRAWLER )) AND THE WHOLE WITH FEW EXPENSES.

YELLOW-CRAWLER brought me great satisfaction.

With its 4 th gear, it is quite effective on the rock ..

COBRA65 and SENIORXJ have also installed the 4 th gear ..
The crawler must be very strong ..

I do not know if BIG-CRAWLER benefit of this mod ..
I will check its behavior on the rock, before thinking to install the 5th gear ..

Why is it the ancestor? Is there a train further down the tracks I don't see in the pic??? [X(] Your 4th gear mod has done well for those looking for extra torque without paying a lot more bucks. Obviously, the "proper" way to do things is with a motor with buckets full of torque, but that usually requires hobby grade electronics due to amphereage issues in the New Bright ESC. Better gearing is the way to go for those not willing to sacrifice the stock eletronics package. Good job!
