When setting up the triton, do I put in the exact ma capacity of my pack or do I increase it by 10~20%?

Is it safe/normal to charge at C1 rate or higher to get a charge on a pack in less then an hour, or should I keep the rate good and low(C/10)?

Thanks!

For Ni-Cd do not exceed 4C and that is pushing some packs. You would be better to stay under 3C, For Ni-MH 2 C is the recommended limit. Set the charge as close as you can get to the rated capacity.

So I am clear on this, the above statement is for NiMh only correct? Nicads will just peak wherever won't they?

Both Ni-Cd and Ni-MH will peak when the approach fully charge, it is just that the Ni-MH peak is more subtle and requires a charger capable of detecting it.

I understand your last statement. What I meant was that the only time Triton wants to know how much to put in is for Nickel Metal cells. Nicad stops where it will...no?
