what were you looking to do with a 60+ mph electric! sure i see 80,90,100+nitro trouring cars but they pretty much only go stright too. plus this is a monster truck (or suposed to be!) imagine if you were to but a high powered BL motor in an electric touring car with a 3 speed trany! i understand y they dont work for most electrics, but with the linear power band from a BL motor the multi speed trany's may do quite well!

I have a Lehner Basic 4200 brushless motor in my Stampede and it is a blast to drive. I'm hitting about 45MPH. This motor has incredible power and it's not even the best one out there. Go brushless.

Why would you want to hit 60 mph in a Maxx?

where can you buy fuel for 10 bucks a gallon?????
this thread is dumb......I dream of hitting a top speed challenge with a Tmaxx thats faster than the Savages that were there last year....they were hitting 60mph. Highly modified including the laydown TVP's super modded 4.6 and real tall gearing.....I believe the Maxx can out do this with alot less modifying....My old 2.5 with street tires a tired 2.5 and tall gearing was regularily hitting 43-44 mph with a laser gun.....any truck can be made to go fast and its not all that expensive.

ok im here to settle this.

I have a revo with an sts.30 and tons of gearing and truly IDK if I can get 50mph out of it. If I can its only by a couply mph. I also have a brushless rusty that will obliterate my bb revo its not even close. I would say I get a bout 50mph out of it to.(7700kv with 2s) I will be getting a erevo soon to so hold your horses. heres my philosify. going fast isnt that expensive.

you can get a bk warrior 9920 for 125bucks. add in a 10xl and 20cells of power or a 6s lipo and you now have one of the most powerfull trucks ever.

ok emaxx 300
bk warrior 125
10xl 50
24cells 60(tenergy 3800)(2 6cells packs for $30 on ebay)
gearing 20
total $555 for a possible 50+mph emaxx and thats including the maxx.

guys theres a reason the rc top speed record is with a brushless car. You just wont know until youve tried it.

so then if every dyno is different, are they also different for major car companies like ford or chevy? i guess these horse powers must not be true as well.....
