Hello Everybody,

I'm brand spanking new to this so please be patient with me.

I just assembled my T-34 and am looking to purchase a simulator program.
The FS One looks pretty good, but I am unsure if an adapter cord is available for it.

The FS One literature says you can use any of today´s popular transmitters from JR, Hitec and Futaba - - But not Spektrum. As a matter of fact, the only available port on this DX6i is on the back labeled "TRAINER" .

I'd rather buy the FS One 'without' controller if I can......

Your thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

Ponz

Hi Ponz

The instructions for using the DX6 are on the Inertiasoft FAQ page at this link: http://www.inertiasoft.com/fsonefaq/index.html#Q1004-FS1 . Inertasoft is the company who wrote the program and who does its development.

Maybe read through those and see if they make sense to you. If that doesn't work, there have been questions about how to use/setup the DX7 and DX6 in the main FS One thread here and at RCG. You could also search those and probably find the answers you're looking for.

I use FS One and I like it. Graphics are good, physics seem good to me, apparently the heli's need adjustment of the factors in the program to make them better but it is known to be better for fixed wing rather than heli use. It is quite customizable and it allows for a wide variety of rc uses but some people don't like the fact that the program development seems to have ground to a halt (pause?) and there aren't as many aircraft as there are for other programs. I think Inertiasoft says that's because the physics for each aircraft are specific to that aircraft and you can't separate the graphics from the physics. Can it be improved from where it is at now, sure. Anyhow you'll find all kinds of comments about how in love people are with their particular selection.

good luck and enjoy,
Dave

For best experience, I recommend getting the version with the controller. It is 'plug and play' that way. You can also still use your own controller. But I will add, like any software, installing the latest update is recommended.

if you have a spectrum tx they sell a usb receiver that plugs into your computer that lets you use your tx without wires (wireless) and you can then use every function the tx has and experiment changing settings and see what effect they have! About $49.00 last time i looked.
