electric motor break in !???

hey i havent been around for a while but im still haveing the same problems with that d**m humming bird i was reading up on what i missed and i heard some one beaking in a electric bell some thing so do you really have to break electric motors in cuz that would probably explain when my mains seemingly dont make enough torque and if this is true how do you break em in ? thanks for any help
