Since urbania will devour all of the land for tract housing and Wallymarts.....

I predict that we will fly a holographic projection of an airplane from a transmitter resembling a radio that we use today, in a large room that has a holographic representation a club flying site complete with big, hairy mosquitoes and ticks the size of dimes, the "know it all" guy, the half blind dude, Dudly, with one arm who flies his 33% Extra with his toes, plane eating trees, and the balsa sniffing dog named Bingo.

All so future generations can experience how well off we had it.

For those of you who've been around for a while, was CA glue and iron on covering as contenious as corogated plastic seems to be today?

My first CG Falcon was covered in tissue dope and paint because at the time the old timers thought shrink wrap wasn't "modeling". I was 16 at the time, what did I know? Besides, I was good at it from my C/L planes ( I'll never forget my Ringmaster)...so I covered it with the "traditional" method that I knew. When the spar broke on that same plane, sending it to it's doom, the first question asked was if I had used that new "instant" glue (which I haden't) because it wasn't near as strong. My how times change...my how they sometimes stay the same.

No stick twiddling in the future, just voice control.

All models will fall from the mould in a complete form.

Will be able to control said aircraft from your armchair.

For the old timers a held held remote will be made available as an optional extra to go with the tv/video/dvd etc etc etc

"Pull up! Pull up!!"

"May Day!, May Day!"

"Watch out for that tree!"

In the case where you are jeoulous of a fellow modelers plane, walk behind him slowly, and while he's performing a low pass, shout, "Split S!!!!".

In keeping with bushwacker: I predicct also that a held held remote will replace these buly transmitters.

The good ones you can point at your old transmitter and pull the settings into it and it will be pre-programmed.
