Default The New Kyosho Kart Anyone?

Well I hope I didnt over look the thread or posts but did anyone manage to get their hands on a new Kyosho Kart yet? I got mine a few weeks ago havent had time to do much with it yet. Picked up bearings to replace the bushings, got a fuel filter, new fuel line and installed my radio gear.
It looks good I like the belt drive system, seems like it will be pretty durable the only thing that really worries me is the rubber air filler feeling tire, I dont think they are going to last long in the parking lots..

Some pictures...

Those tires are very soft and sticky. But I heard people mount F1 foam tires on it and run very well.

Not a fan of the belt drive, but that is a unique rc vehicle...

No, my local model shop asked me to do it, its very easy to do, just had to make 3 parts, motor mount, clutch bell motor adaptor, and battery mount. The 3000kv motor should give the same kind of rpm as the ic motor, esc bolts to chassis so keeps everything cool ! very little work and can be converted back easy if you need to. Performance is very good, rear tires starting to show some wear, these tires are very good and get very hot and sticky and grippy. Only one problem, you have to run the belt fairly tight as it skips now and again, running a smooth throttle curve helps.
Steve.

The Kart is great, tough too!! I have just finished the brushless conversion, had to fit the clutch back on and add the servo for the rear brake because the raw power from that brushless motor stripped the belt and pulley, but just come back from testing with the clutch and no problem now, 10 mins of tire shreading run time and no stripped belts or pullys. This set up is crazy fast much more power than the ic, so the standard Kart with the ic motor should run forever great little model.
