Status: offline 		yes I know its an old charger (from my electric off road days) but i was wondering if its ok to use this to charge my Tx/Rx batteries.

this charger runs of 12V, can charge 4-8 cells this I know is fine for the batteries, but the problem is it has a variable output of between 1 to 6 amps. Is that too much?
