I agree in car tune i built a single turbo rx7 with lots of upgrades. Spent atleast 40k all together. This rc thing is chump change.

Its mostly just a certain class of people that stay a die hard I guess. I got a quad that's done from the ground up to race but got hurt before it got finished. Its done now and looks nice going around the yard giving the kids scare rides. And also in to works of restoring a 88 Monte SS with a 406 and have a 84 Bonneville sleeper as a daily driver.

n my boys are 8 and 10 and can out drive most grownups i run with thay get kinda mad when i send my 8 year old to race them and he beats them we drag race in a parking loy

I have front arms on all four corners of my RS4, makes it a bit longer and also needed some exhaust header clearance with the big block in there.
I'll post some pics later.

Here are a pair of front arms fitted to the rear ( i had to modify them with a dremel to fit).

If I didn't do this my exhaust manifold would rub the rear tire with the big block engine in there and my very high gearing.
So the wheelbase is just a tad longer than the standard RS4-3, this is my 100mph car

I've aways wanted an Nitro RC car. Looked back into it in 06/07 - totally forgot about till Nov. 12' when my nephews got their cars.

So... HPI's last release of new kits were in 2007 (18ss+ and the Evo+). I really like the idea of building a car - but they discontinued the last kit, 18ss+ in 2008.

It seems as if they've been on a hiatus for over 5 years already on releasing a new nitro touring kit. Does anyone know if they would be possibly releasing new nitro kits in 2013? It would be great to build - instead of buying a RTR kit that was released 5 years ago.

And if possibly - just with a little bit of hope - do you think they're are still new 18ss+ floating around from legit hobby stores online?

There's an on road car called HB R10. Not sure when it's coming out but that will be their next onroad nitro car.

Yea - I seen the new Hot Bodies R10 kit car, but I don't think it includes an engine or exhaust. I guess with Hot Bodies joining w/ HPI, do you think they will release new unassembled kits under HPI?

Hopefully they're working on a new RS4 model. That would be awesome.

drop 600 on a hpi tenth thats out of the ? i would get a real car like a high end serpent before i do that and it would be a 1\8
